Workshop of Curiosity
Replica project of William Morris wood block textile print design, Rose & Thistle, by only using the color scheme of white. Research had begun on the pure interest in William Morris design, but then by realising the complicated process of the woodblock printing, natural dye, and discharge print led the research to go further to the recognition of the anonymous workers in the textile industry, and the contrast between flowers in real world and perfected floral motifs in designed products.
The work has been made with the articulate process of traditional English woodblock print, using only natural dyestuffs and materials.
